Our client is a major food manufacturing company based in Saudi Arabia. They are currently seeking a Plant Director. The position is permanent.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the finance department and be responsible for the day to day running of the department.
The successful candidate should be a Chartered Accountant ( CA or CMA Preferred ) and be an accomplished Financial Accountant / Finance Manager able to prepare annual financial statements.
Ideally some of your previous experience will have been in a similar position in an international food manufacturing company.
You will have strong IT, Finance and Administration skills and a good grasp of budgets and expenditure constraints.
You will have previous experience of the management of the monthly financial reporting to Head Office incl. capital expenditure and cash flow planning.
You will have strong costing knowledge and skills and able to optimize the working capital of the business unit.
You will have experience in leading, managing and developing a team with a good knowledge of ERP systems and implementation of processes and E-banking.
You will have a high level of initiative, problem solving and decision making ability and will be someone who pays attention to the detail and highly organised.
You should have the ability to work independently when required and be able to exercise sound judgement in decision making.
You should possess excellent communication skills in English and ideally some Arabic and be able to adapt to rapid changes in a positive manner and work to tight deadlines.
Superb communication skills and instant credibility are essential as you will be inter-facing with a number of people from different backgrounds, nationalities and religions.
You will be resourceful with a flexible outlook, have the ability to multi-task in order to handle competing priorities and be able to fit in to an international dynamic and multi-cultural environment.
Finally you should possess a Drivers Licence and be PC / IT literate particularly with Microsoft Excel and spread sheets.
This is an outstanding challenge for an accomplished Finance Manager looking for something different.
The basic salary is paid in SARS and is tax free for an Ex-Patriate employee.
In addition there is an annual bonus payable of up to 3 months basic salary based on performance which is also paid in Sars and tax free for an Ex-Patriate employee.
Accommodation is provided, Other benefits include medical insurance, 30 days paid annual leave.
You will receive one paid return air fare to your home base each year. Mobilization and De-Mobilization flights are also paid for by our client.
