SW7654:Production Supervisor
Location:Plymouth
Salary:£23,000 plus monthly bonus scheme
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production/Engineering Supervisor to join a reputable and successful manufacturing company in Plymouth. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will be varied and will involve working closely with the senior managers and the shop floor to ensure efficient and timely production.
The ideal candidate will:
*Take direct responsibility for managing the production team.
*Ensure compliance with the companies HSE and Quality Policies within the factory.
*Have an active role in improving productivity within the business, by having the key skills to recognise areas of development within the manufacturing process.
*Be fully aware of continuous improvement.
*Organise and control production and stock levels.
The right Candidate will have;
*The ability to develop, inspire and challenge the production team.
*A proven track record in engineering/manufacturing.
*Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels across the business.
*Be comfortable working within a team environment, using their work skills and having the ability to work on their own initiative.
*Excellent problem solving skills.
*Computer literate.
20 days holiday per annum, plus public holidays.
