HQ7666 Service Engineer
Location: Northampton
Salary: £21,500pa
The Service Engineer`s role is to maintain customer vehicles to a high standard of repair. You will be a multi skilled engineer, able to turn your hand to electrical and mechanical and previous automotive/vehicle experience is essential. Applications from ex-military engineers are strongly encouraged.
Duties:
Must be a team player who can also display a willingness to use their own initiative.
Reporting to the Service supervisor in the first instance.
Carry out Service schedules as laid out by the company Manual.
Carry out Repairs as directed by the Service Supervisor.
Offsite duties may be required at the discretion of the Service Manager/Service Supervisor.
Carry out Electrical/electronic repairs.
Carry out any other duties required by the service department.
Skills/Qualifications:
Essential
Automotive/vehicle experience
Desirable
Electrical/Electronic qualification
Mechanical engineering qualification either industrial or automotive
Hydraulic/Fluid power qualification
HGV Licence
