n with experience of working in a busy IT department gaining 1st and 2nd line experience in a multi-user, office environment.
Knowledge of the construction or engineering industries would be advantageous.
You will be an enthusiastic and self- motivated individual who can integrate into the business whilst providing a comprehensive 1st and 2nd line IT support service.
Your practical experience should ideally be supported by degree level education in computing, IT or a relevant Network/System Administration Qualification.
You should be experienced with Microsoft applications, IP Networks, Active Directory, Exchange 2010, Blackberry, Watchguard Firewalls, Symantec (Vault/Backup/Endpoint) products.
Experience in VMWare environments would be advantageous.
You will be able to work in a team environment and be an effective team player.
You will have excellent communications skills.
You will be able to work to deadlines in a site environment.
You will be able to work unsupervised to agreed goals with capability to withstand external influences and having confidence to request assistance from the IT management as required.
You will need to show flexibility and a willingness to travel.
You should possess a high degree of computer and PC literacy. You should possess a clean Drivers Licence.
Salary will be negotiable around £22-32k range depending upon skillset and experience.
Benefits include 25 days holiday plus bank and public holidays, pension, private health insurance and death in service benefit.
