We are working with an associate recruitment company who has offices in the UK, New Zealand, Australia, Canada and Dublin.
They are currently seeking Panel Beaters for a major Australian Client for their operations in and around Toowoomba, Queensland. The roles are permanent.
You will work on Autos and Heavy Trucks.
You will review damage reports.
You will replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components.
You will file, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
You will hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers.
You will remove damaged fenders, panels and grills.
You will weld replacement parts.
You will inspect repaired vehicles, able to keep clean and maintain work space.
You will be an accomplished Panel Beater with your practical experience supported by recognised trade qualifications. e.g. Cert III, City and Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or FAS or equivalent.
You will have sound knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair practices.
You will have fibre glassing experience, chassis alignment and rollover repairs experience.
You will have an Open Manual Drivers Licence
Previous HGV / Truck experience would be an advantage.
You will have excellent communicational skills.
You will be competent in job task planning and organizing.
You will have a proven capability in working in fast-paced environment.
You should have a good knowledge of workshop safety procedures and practices.
You should be able to work independently and unsupervised and within a team environment.
You must be physically fit.

Salary will be paid in Australian Dollars and will be around 57,000 per annum. Some overtime will be available.
You must be able to pass drink and drug tests.
The end client will also assist with accommodation sourcing and settlement in Australia.
Ideally you will be able to apply for the Working Holiday Visa for 417 however Visa 457 is on offer to the right candidate.
Candidates will be required to pay their flight costs and living expenses once in Australia.
