Our client is a global market leader in entry solutions, they have 140 years` experience in creating quality engineered entrance products expertly designed to manage the movement of people throughout offices, universities, healthcare facilities, airports and many other building types.  They work together with their clients to determine the exact requirements for the mobility hotspots in their building, and then develop a customised solution from the vast range of revolving door and security products. 
Our Clients expertise and knowledge allows them to provide their customers with future proof entry solutions that can be customised to fit their specification and requirements.   Due to their continued success they are now seeking a Senior Project Manager.
This is a permanent position and is home based, must live within 40 miles of Central London.
The role of Senior Project Manager is to provide effective management for their team of Project Managers ensuring they can fulfil their roles to a high standard. The post holder will be responsible to the Head of Installs & Service for all project related matters and will include establishing and maintaining high standards for the team by managing their KPI`s, therefore ensuring customer service excellence is provided. You will be required to provide detailed, accurate and timely reports on their team`s performance.
You will be responsible for the allocation of new projects to the Project Management team (includes Retrofit Project Management), monitoring the balance of workloads and complexity.
You will monitor and ensure timely, complete and accurate handovers are conducted with Project Managers and the relevant Business Managers, allowing the efficient transfer of projects between departments whilst ensuring the Company`s contractual commitments are not compromised by lead times.
You will also, ensure the subsequent handover of completed projects to the Regional Service Manager for the Company`s Service Department takes place
You will ensure that accurate, sufficiently detailed and professionally presented drawings are produced within an acceptable time frame.  
You will oversee the Project Management team to ensure the timely completion of works, including all drawing approval, manufacturing and construction programme deadlines are met.
You will actively monitor sub-contractor and supplier performance, providing guidance and advice to Project Managers who will be responsible for placing orders, obtaining/providing correct specifications, monitoring progress and arranging logistics to obtain best value and upholding the reputation of the Company.
You will provide guidance and advice, including new opportunities, on improving the profit margins on all projects managed by the team. Providing the team with information where further value can be added to existing projects through additional associated works within Company guidelines.
You will represent the Company at site/design meetings as individual contracts dictate to maintain the Company`s reputation with the customer and ensure the Company`s contractual obligations are met.
You will oversee and, when necessary, represent the Company to establish an agreed (with our Customer) final account positions and assisting with cash collection where necessary.
You will Deliver and Monitor the new Exact Operating system to the PM team.
You will comply with Company Health and Safety and Environmental Policy and standards at all times.
You will ensure site works within the portfolio are both planned and conducted safely by Project Managers and Installation Technicians.
You will ensure project specific method statements are being raised by Project Managers and issued for all site works.
You will take responsibility for your own continued professional development by keeping up to date with the skills and knowledge required to conduct the job function effectively.
You will ensure that the Company SharePoint Site is visited regularly to keep yourself informed of any developments or changes to products or procedures and general Company news items.
You will display at all times a courteous and responsible attitude towards work, colleague and customers and in general promote and enhance the Company`s image and professionalism. 
Your performance will be judged in part by the performance achieved by the team you are responsible for by managing their KPI`s.


Knowledge and Skills:

You will be an experienced Project Manager, preferably with a technical/construction background; a project management qualification would be an advantage.
You will be an accomplished Manager/Team Leader.
You will hold a Construction Site Certificate Scheme (CSCS) Card.
You will ideally be BS7036 Accredited.
