Our Client is the leading UK’s leading Wireless Telecoms infrastructure delivery company. They carry out every aspect of wireless telecoms network infrastructure delivery. From acquisition, planning and design through to deployment and optimisation, they project manage network roll-out by utilising in-house resources to guarantee unsurpassed quality and stability.
They are currently seeking a Quality & Document Controller to be based at their offices in Greater Manchester. The role is permanent.
Reporting to the Design Manager – West, the successful candidate will support the Design Team ensuring all designs are right first time, the role holder will review and approve site designs returned to the Department.
You will collate, upload and share client standard details.
You will review all sub-contractor drawings before issue.
You will review all West internal designs for quality purposes before issue.
You will collate and make client documentation available for the department.
You will produce regular reports for the Design Manager with an update of work progress and work completion including quality issues.
Knowledge and Skills:
You will be an accomplished Document Controller with experience of working in the construction industry and in a Telcomms environment.
Your practical experience should be supported by a technical qualification, ideally an HND / HNC in civil or structural engineering, or equivalent.
You will be able to work under pressure.
You will have excellent communication, time management and organisation skills.
You will have good IT / PC skills.
You will be able to work in a team environment and be an effective team player.
Salary will be negotiable around £30,000 – 35,000 per annum.
Benefits include 25 days holiday plus bank and public holidays, pension, private health insurance and death in service benefit.
