Salary: £18,000 - £22,000
Location: Rhymney, Heads of Valley
Position: Permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a School Programme Instructor who must be a qualified physical training instructor. The School Programme Instructor will provide support, guidance and motivation to all other staff members and learners through all issues, whilst showing respect during all forms of communication.
The School Programme Instructor must be able to forward plan and document all lessons, programs and procedures related to your department, reporting back to your line manager.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
*Supporting, coaching and motivating young people to further progress into vocational training routes.
*The programme has a military/fitness element so candidates will need to lead a fit & healthy life style, enjoy physical activity and take control of the daily planning of the programme.
*The role requires the skills to engage, motivate and educate young people.
*To obtain a level 2 qualification in Advancing Equality and Diversity during probation period.
*To gain an in-depth knowledge of, and maintain, awarding body standards and paperwork.
*To develop, prepare and deliver all lessons and physical training using relevant training strategies.
Qualifications/Experience
*Qualified physical training instructor
*MUST have excellent communication skills whilst being able to work as part of a team,
*MUST be able to grasp new concepts quickly and introduce them successfully in overseeing and completing assignments.
*Demonstrate initiative and insight in contributing actively to KPIs.
*MUST have good knowledge about EQALITY and DIVERSITY.
*MUST have good knowledge of safeguarding.
*Experienced Sports Instructor to deliver BTEC qualifications.
*Experience in delivering in a classroom environment would be an advantage.
