Our Client is a professional, reliable and bespoke commercial cleaning business based in South Yorkshire. Our client has gone from strength to strength in recent years and as such is expanding rapidly. It is due to this expansion that our client now requires a Part Time Cleaning Team Leader. This role is permanent.
The successful candidate will work on average 16 Hours a week, however flexibility will be required as some weeks you may work more hours than others.
You will be expected to deep clean various client sites on a regular basis alongside your team.
You will also be expected to cover any sickness, holidays or absences within your team as well as arrange for your role to be covered at times when you are not available.
Regular contact with your team in relation to stock will be needed to enable you to process your stock orders on a monthly basis.
Any stock orders will need to be recorded on the stock sheets and sent to the Operations Manager for processing.
You will be required to follow up on the cleaning standards audits carried out on each client site.
You will also be the first point of contact for the cleaners in your team should they have any basic queries.
As the need for your team to grow arises you will be expected to be involved with the interviews and inductions for any new cleaners.
You will also be expected to complete Self-Certification Forms, Doctors Notes and Return To Work Interviews as instructed by your supervisor for any of your tem off due to sickness.
You will report directly to your Supervisor.
Knowledge and Skills:
The ideal candidate will already have a commercial cleaning background either as a Team Leader or a cleaner ready for a step-up.
Experience of team management would be advantageous however not essential.
A good level of both written and verbal communication is a must in this role.
The successful candidate must also hold a full UK driving license.
The salary offered is £14,248 pro rata with the opportunity increase as you progress within the company.
