Salary: £200 - £300 per day (negotiable)
Position:Contract
Location:Flexible location but must be able to travel to Customer sites and visit
customer based in London
An Urgent opportunity has arisen for the requirement of Project Manager (s) who have demonstrable experience of working with/for BT Openreach or BT Group, either directly or for a BT Group supplier or a background in Civils/Utilities. These Project Manager (s) must have good understanding of P&L`s and demonstrate an awareness of financial terminology.
Applications from suitably experienced ex-military personnel are strongly encouraged
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
*Initially the role would be developing with BT the correct approach to deal with a particular line of BT business
*Engage with senior Customer and to understand the total end to end process and to work with them to improve that process, then to drive that improvement through the business, providing appropriate motivation and management via our matrix organisation to deliver the level of service required.
*Prioritisation and negotiations with developers and local councils.
*Understand and present complex information to the customer on a daily basis
Key Skills and Candidate Requirements:
*Demonstrable experience of working with/for BT Openreach or BT Group, either directly or for a BT Group supplier or a background in Civils/Utilities
*Must have good understanding of P&L`s and demonstrate an awareness of financial terminology
*Have strong numeracy skills to support financial controls.
*Proven track record of successful delivery of large scale Projects.
*Must be tenacious and resilient
*Experience of matrix management
*Numerate and able to understand complex information
*Structured, used to planning and managing contract complex projects, driving outcomes and providing updates and reports.
*Strong negotiation skills
*Strong Commercial skills
