Location: France - Paris
Salary: Approx. £2,000 per month
Benefits: Free shared hotel accommodation with continental breakfast, part
uniform & accrued holiday pay paid at end of contract
This is a 6 month fixed contract with the option for renewal.
Our client is recruiting PCV/PSV Drivers to be located in France to operate a new transfer service that will commence on 15th May 2015. The PCV/PSV Drivers will ideally have international coach driving experience and excellent customer service skills. Our client has high expectations of their drivers and you will be expected to constantly strive to raise standards and you will be a part of a team that will be encouraged to do just that.
Drivers will be based in Paris or willing to relocate there as of 10th May 2015 and to operate a shuttle minibus service between Charles de Gaulle Airport and the centre of Paris.
Hours of work will be on a shift basis of 5 on 2 off, and an hourly rate of 120 euros per 10 hour shift. This will be a UK contract with salary paid into your UK bank account.
Applicants must hold a full, unrestricted Class D (PCV/PSV) manual driving licence issued in a European Union country OR hold a D1 16 seat minibus manual licence obtained by taking a D1 driving test. A current digital tachograph card and valid CPC are also required.
Main Responsibilities:
*To commence passenger pick-ups on time
*To drive safely and efficiently between Charles de Gaulle Airport and central Paris
*To park in the designated parking areas at Charles de Gaulle Airport and use only the authorised pick up points
*To fuel vehicles, as necessary, using the allocated DKV card and to hand over the vehicle fully fuelled for the next driver
*To wash and blade the outside of the vehicle to ensure it stays clean at all times
*To keep the inside of the vehicle immaculately clean and free from litter at all times
*To complete all vehicle daily paperwork as required by the Standard Operating Procedure
*To liaise with fellow drivers for arranging the handing over of vehicles at the end of your shift
*To wear the Company uniform when on duty and to keep it clean and tidy
*To drive in a safe and responsible manner, according to the road conditions and the law, ensuring through your diligence and professionalism that no `own fault` body or mechanical damage occurs to the vehicle.
*To complete any other reasonable task requested
