To provide gas service, repair and quality assurance services to domestic end users, supporting a range of products on behalf of various customers
Key activities:
• Providing gas maintenance and quality assurance services to domestic customers
• To ensure that all job related documentation and other administration is kept up to date
Main responsibilities of role:
• Undertaking maintenance, service and repairs to gas heating systems, equipment and devices for domestic customers
• Conducting quality assurance activities on gas heating systems, equipment and devices for domestic customers
• To ensure all job related documentation and other required administration is kept up to date
• To maintain currency of knowledge with respect to relevant technology, equipment or working practices required to support the business and its customers
• To ensure that all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and practices are followed, ensuring that everyone is made aware of their responsibilities in these areas
• To undertake other related activities as required
Key skill requirements:
• Relevant experience of servicing, maintenance and repair of gas heating systems
• Excellent fault diagnosis skills
• Minimum qualifications – CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, HTR1 and ideally DAH1 & MET1
• Knowledge and understanding of gas and heating systems, equipment and devices
• Ability to maintain and produce accurate administration documents
• High level of energy and enthusiasm
• Good written and oral communication skills, face to face and over the telephone
• A high level of customer focus
• Self motivation and the ability to work on own initiative and unsupervised
