Introduction:

Our client is a leading supplier of services to the Ministry of Defence and they now have an immediate requirement for a HR Business Partner at their military site at RAF Wyton, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. The successful HR Business Partner will manage the provision of an influential HR service to our client’s business by providing information, appropriate support and advice to line managers. This is a permanent position with a salary of Circa £30,000 dependant on your experience along with a car and other benefits as listed below. This job does involve some travel. Responsibilities:  include the following:

- To assist the HR team in the provision of information, support and advice to Line Managers so that they operate within the requirements of employment legislation and company policy, including: Equal opportunities and diversity, Resourcing, recruitment and selection, Employee benefits, Employee relations, Absence Management, Performance Management, Disciplinary and Grievance.

- Develop people and succession plans.

- Assist with the development of employee surveys and the implementation of the subsequent regional people plans.

- To provide advice to managers conducting investigations into performance and conduct issues

- To liaise with employee representatives where appropriate.

- To assist the Human Resources Director in preparation and, where appropriate, briefing of Tribunal cases.

- To support in the conducting of the annual pay review and management bonus scheme.

Applicant Requirements:

Essential: Demonstrable experience in the following areas: - Equal opportunities and diversity. - Resourcing, recruitment and selection. - Employee benefits. - Employee relations. - Performance Management. - Disciplinary and Grievance. - Change Management. - Handling TUPE transfers. - Dealing with Trade Unions. - Managing costs.

Desirable: - Previous experience working within a MoD or military environment. - Experience in a high volume multi-site environment.
