Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Hours:8am - 5pm
Benefits:Pension employee 3% contribution; employer 3% contribution
Holidays:20 days + bank holidays
A Crane Service Engineer is required to oversee the maintenance, operations, service and repair of lifting equipment and cranes. The Crane Service Engineer will have a background in engineering that ideally includes reading hydraulic and electrical diagrams.

The Crane Service Engineer will have outstanding communication skills and have proven previous experience interacting with both customers and delivering training to the work force. The Crane Service Engineer will be a team player who thrives on problem solving and enjoys utilsing an extensive technical knowledge as part of their day to day routine. Responsibilities:
*Undertaking repair, service and maintenance of lifting equipment and cranes
*Utilise a sound knowledge base and technical support in the event of failure of plant
*Diagnose equipment / plant faults
*Keep up to date health & safety plus customer service records
*Address and solve equipment / plant defects on site
*Strive to uphold and enhance health & safety in the workplace
Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:
Essential:
*Either mechanical or electrical engineering experience
*Read hydraulic and electrical diagrams
*Understanding of health and safety guidelines and how to uphold them
*Outstanding customer facing skills
*Good administrative skills
*Ability to solve problems
*Self-reliant and resourceful
*Detailed and precise
Desirable:
*Fork Lift Truck experience
