Description :
You will ideally have a working knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance and be able to locate and repair faults within these systems, ensuring full working order is maintained across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspections of buildings, grounds and equipment to identify any usage or malfunctioning conditions
Carry out regular preventative maintenance and testing on all buildings systems
Assist with any modifications or installations
Respond in a timely manner to emergencies and complete reactive repairs
Prioritise service calls and follow-up on completion
Recommend equipment/services upgrades
Coordinate outside contractors when work cannot be completed by in-house teams and maintain work orders log
Order parts as required and maintain stock and inventory
Respond to tenant complaints both in person and through the help desk systems
Be familiar with and adhere to all written operating procedures relating to the site
Other duties as assigned
Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:
Qualifications & Experience in Electrical Fault Finding, Repair and Maintenenace
Experience of fault-finding and repairing defective heating and plumbing equipment / fittings.
Good communication skills
PC skills
Proven experience of work prioritisation and planning
Work well in a team or on your own initiative
A.C.S. Gas Course - Commercial (desirable)
Plumbing experience (desirable)
Salary: £25,000 - £27,500
