Hours:39 hours a week
A Field Service Engineer is required to take responsibility for planned preventative maintenance on company vehicles in the field. The Field Service Engineer will have a time served mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent and also have experience of working on large trucks. The Field Service Engineer will uphold company standards and codes of practice; utilise career knowledge alongside diagnostic equipment to identify faults; compile orders for spare parts; carry out repairs to the highest standard. The Field Service Engineer will act as a company representative on client sites and must uphold outstanding standards of customer service.

Responsibilities:
Travel to a variety of client sites
Carry out PPM
Complete all associated documentation
Utilise career knowledge alongside diagnostic equipment to identify faults
Ensure relevant records are compiled before leaving site
Work whilst always upholding company Health and Safety guidelines
Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:
Essential:
Time served mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent
Previous proven experience working on trucks
Customer facing experience
Team player
Excellent communication skills
Full, clean driving licence
Computer literate
Desirable:
FLT licence
Previous experience of vehicles powered by battery
