Description :
Responsible for Hotel security at night-time, ensuring that guests needs are taken care of to the Company high standards.
Applications from suitably qualified ex-military personnel (Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Marines) will be particularly relevant for this position.
Main Responsibilities
*Assist the Duty Manager and all departments
*Assist the Early Morning staff (Bakers, Cleaners, Restaurant, Kitchen Porters)
*Communicate with the early Duty Manager through the Duty Manager Book or verbally on any on-going night issues
*Ensure the stillroom is tidy and ready for early breakfast
*Order newspapers as per list. Check forward planner for other additional papers required for conferences
*Ensure lounges, terraces and public areas are tidy, free and ready for cleaning by Housekeeping
*Be familiar with the system to enter breakfast orders and any other room or bar service
*Diplomatically handle late night revelers to avoid disturbance to other guests or damage to property
*Make sure that Company Policy and the Vision are followed at all times
*Establishing a courteous, helpful, and friendly attitude to all guests
*Be fully aware of the Hotels Fire Safely procedures and Health & Safety regulations
*Ensure electric buggies are fully charged and in place for morning shift
*Assist maintenance by conducting light bulb checks and replacing what can safely be replaced
