The successful Lift Engineers Mate will be joining an employer with a reputation for consistently delivering first class support to businesses requiring an experienced third party contractor to undertake maintenance, repairs and modernisations on hydraulic lifts.
Full training is provided for this position. However, it would be advantageous for you to have had some experience in a hands-on, technical or engineering environment.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1)Working on hydraulic / traction lift systems to include repairs, maintenance, fault-finding, testing, valve changes and site surveying.
2)Sharing driving duties with Engineer. Ensuring that the company vehicle is appropriately stocked with spares. Keeping the vehicle clean and tidy and report any damage or faults to the Engineer.
3)To properly complete and submit weekly timesheets and job specific documentation, both paper and electronic based, as directed.
4)To undertake training courses and learn on the job, to enable you to progress to Engineer level.
