SW 8571:Driver/Operator
Salary:£10ph (£15ph for overtime)
Location:Exeter
My client wishes to appoint a Driver/Operator for their operation based in Exeter. The position will be based on a 40-hour week but will include up to 20 hours overtime a week paid at a time and a half. They are looking for someone who is hard working, knows the SW well and not afraid of long hours and occasional nights out in the cab (for which an allowance will be paid). This is an outdoors role in all weather conditions. You will need to be fit and healthy and of a robust nature.
Main Responsibilities:
*Driving and the operation of an animal feed mixing vehicle on farms at various locations within the South West England area
*This will include lifting bags, shovelling feed, connecting pipes to feed bins etc.
*Dependant on the volume of feed required per farm, you could be sitting on farm for 4/5 hours per day or perhaps a full day
Experience and Qualifications:
*Would ideally suit individuals from an agricultural background (not essential)
*LGV licence preferred (not essential).
*If candidates do not have an LGV licence, they must be over 21 years of age
This would ideally suit someone from a Royal Navy, Army or Royal Air Force background. Training will be provided.
