HQ3965 Sales Engineer (home based)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE

A Sales Engineer is required to liaise with contractors and wholesalers to identify sales opportunities for an established and innovative electrical solutions company. The Sales Engineer will be based in or around London and have at least five years’ previous selling experience. A working knowledge of electrical systems is essential. The Sales Engineer will be home based and be responsible for planning and making daily client visits.

The Sales Engineer will be familiar with using computer systems to maintain a comprehensive customer database, monitoring sales and analysing resultant data. The Sales Engineer will work to targets and continually aim to develop their portfolio of contractors so increasing demand and market presence. By utilising product knowledge, the Sales Engineer will promote company products and provide solutions for customers.

Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:
Essential:
Previous proven sales experience
Electrical time served apprenticeship
Experience of electrical installations
Working knowledge of BS7671
Excellent IT skills
