A Contracts Manager is required to oversee multiple contracts within the shop fitting sector. The Contracts Manager will take responsibility for the creation of the programme of works in consultation with the customer. Once agreed, the Contracts Manager will take full responsibility for coordinating the contract to completion. The Contracts Manager will oversee projects UK wide travelling generally once a week to visit sites in order to monitor progress. The Contracts Manager will generally run three projects at a time, one that is at the planning stage, another that is nearly finished and one that is in full flow. The Contracts Manager will ensure every contactor adheres to the original programme as all contractors on site work to deadlines they devise.

Responsibilities:
Take on board information regarding a project once the bid is won
Devise a programme of works for each project
Liaise with the customer to confirm the programme of works
Look after the customer at all times
Be on site to discuss work pre-contract
Oversee set up on site once work commences
Oversee employees on site, liaising with the Foreman and Site Manager as required
Monitor progress and ensure the programme of works is kept to at all times
Identify possible issues with timings and determine ways to overcome them
Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:
Essential:
Proven, previous experience in contacts management
Construction / joinery / shop fitting background
Proven track record of meeting deadlines
Full UK driving licence
