Main Purpose:
To provide occupational medical support to clients in all aspects of the day to day running of the business within the London clinic, and occasional visits to client sites within London.
Applications from suitably qualified ex-military personnel (Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Marines) will be particularly relevant for this position.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Conduct competency specific medical assessments to Client standards
Conduct certification medical assessments to Client standards
Conduct general occupational health screens (fitness for task)
Carry out drug and alcohol urine collections and alcohol breathalysing under chain of custody procedure at HO or clients work sites that meet the specified Client standards for carrying out the service.
To assist the medical officer in carrying out health screens, including safety critical competent medicals
Phlebotomy
Conduct spirometry and respiratory assessments
Conduct ECG’s as and when required
Carry out general medical administration involved with the above medical assessments, as appropriate
To assist in general medical administrative duties as directed by the Head of Clinical Services
To assist in other screening and administration work, as appropriate
Main Scope & Criteria:
Main contacts – Client companies, Customer Services Team members, Marketing & Sales Team, Accounts & Medical Team
Specialist knowledge – medical qualification e.g. nursing diploma Paramedical diploma
Ideally ex-Military forces medic
Accurate and well-organised, able to use own initiative and work independently
Computer literate
Fluent English
