The Priory Hospital Hemel Hempstead is a 38 bedded Hospital which offers a home and treatment for adults aged 18 with no upper limit that have enduring mental health and physical illness and demonstrating challenging behaviour. 

The role:

We are looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team. Our focus is on increasing independence, improving quality of life and promoting social inclusion for the service users in our care. As an OTA, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing individual and group activities within the hospital and in the community. The role would require you to assist the occupational therapist to carry out assessments and interventions, formulate and run therapy programmes as well produce timely electronic reports.

Candidates should be motivated and enthusiastic. Previous experience working in a similar environment would be an advantage, although is not essential. Full driving licence and good computer skills are essential for the role.
