Providing quality, inspiring innovation and delivering value is what we set out to achieve at Priory Healthcare. Enabling our patients with mental health difficulties to receive a truly integrated and holistic approach to their treatment, regardless of complexity or severity, thanks to the knowledge and expertise of our multidisciplinary clinical teams.
Set within landscaped gardens, the safe and supportive environment of the Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal offers a comprehensive inpatient specialist mental health service for young people and adults. The service is dedicated to providing innovative, high quality care and treatment for service users with challenging and complex needs, in order to enable their recovery and re-engagement with the community.
So, if you are looking to develop your clinical and leadership skills to the full, there’s no better place to be.
Our strengths are clear. Our multi-disciplinary teams deliver effective therapeutic interventions and seamless care pathways for patients with complex eating disorders in a healing environment that also offers specialist Adolescent, Acute, Rehabilitation and PICU services. We are now looking for a qualified Clinical / Counselling Psychologist or high Intensity Psychological Therapist to support the growing success of our Adult Eating Disorder services. In addition to undertaking specialist psychological assessments, you will co-facilitate groups, deliver specialist psychological interventions, provide consultation and supervision, and actively contribute to the development and continuous improvement of our service provision.
This part time salaried position – equivalent to NHS Band 7 – calls for a professional with HCPC registration and a doctorate in clinical or counselling psychology or a BABCP accredited therapist. We also welcome applications from current doctoral trainees who are due to qualify in 2017. In all cases, you must be able to demonstrate the clinical, consultation and leadership skills needed to offer an outstanding psychology service. First-class communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills are, of course, essential.
