Set back within 15 acres of landscaped gardens, the tranquil environment of the Priory Hospital Southampton offers therapeutic and recovery focused residential treatment as well as day care and outpatient services. The hospital also provides a specialist inpatient service for children and adolescents.
Priory Hospital Southampton provides 40 beds across 3 wards. The services provided at the hospital include Addictions Treatment, young peoples ward (CAMHs) and treatment of most psychiatric low risk conditions and Eating Disorders.
We have a highly experienced team of mental health professionals and support staff, which include consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and therapists.
With a full MDT in a fully refurbished unit we are seeking an excellent Mental Health Nurse with strong leadership, management and communication skills. Candidates should have at least 2 years experience in a leadership role and preferably clinical experience in CAMHS. The successful candidate will work alongside the consultant psychiatrist in leading the ward to become a centre of excellence.
