Chelfham Bere Alston Children`s Home specialises in high quality residential provision for boys and girls between 7-19 with complex learning needs and challenging behaviour including Autism. This home currently is adjacent to Chelfham Bere Alston School which has been rated \"good\" by Ofsted, where the children are educated. The safeguarding and wellbeing of our children and young people is always paramount. 

This position is to build upon existing resources to support a move to two brand new homes in the community in the Tamar Valley by December 2017.

This care role includes weekends.

Competitive Salary plus company pension scheme.

The successful candidate will be calm under pressure, an excellent communicator and be able to offer a high degree of flexibility. You must hold a NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care/Children and Young People`s Workforce or be willing to work towards this. Previous experience in care setting would be an preferred but not essential. Full induction, competency and growth framework is used to support your knowledge, training and professional development, there will be a minimum 3-month probation period.

Due to the homes location own transport is essential.
