A mechanically biased engineer with some electrical expertise is required to oversee the maintenance, inspection, service and repair of lifting equipment and mini cranes. The Service Engineer will know how to read hydraulic and electrical diagrams. The Service Engineer will have outstanding communication skills and have experience interacting with customers and delivering training to the work force. The Service Engineer will be a team player who thrives on problem solving and enjoys utilising their extensive technical knowledge as part of a day to day routine. The Service Engineer will take great pride in delivering outstanding customer service and contribute to the continued growth and development of the company. Product training will be provided for the successful candidate.

Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:
Essential:
Either mechanical, hydraulic or electrical engineering experience
Previous experience working on plant, HGVs or cranes
Read hydraulic and electrical diagrams
Understanding of health and safety guidelines and how to uphold them
Outstanding customer facing skills
Good administrative skills
Ability to solve problems
Self-reliant and resourceful
Detailed and precise
Desirable:
Fork Lift Truck experience
Access platforms
