Description :

Providing quality, inspiring innovation and  delivering value is what we set out to achieve at Priory Healthcare. Enabling our patients with mental health difficulties to receive a truly integrated and holistic approach to their treatment, regardless of complexity or severity, thanks to the knowledge and expertise of our multidisciplinary clinical teams.

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service Eating Disorders Unit at the Priory Hospital Roehampton is a 19 bed specialist centre providing specialist care to young people who are experiencing Eating Disorders. We are a recovery focused team and our aim is to discharge our young people safely. Working alongside the therapy and education team, we offer a full programme for our young people.

The role:

You will take an active role in managing the ward under supervision of the Ward Manager, and take charge in their absence. You will also have proven leadership skills along with a strong drive to develop yourself and the dedicated nursing team. Dealing with referrals, external reporting and quality compliance aspects will all be within your remit.

You will directly participate in patient care and prior eating disorder experience within a CAMHS setting is highly desirable. We will offer further eating disorder training on site as part of your induction and ongoing CPD although an awareness of this patient group would be most beneficial.

This role is a clinical position, and you will work clinical shift patterns as a visible leader. You will receive 1 shift a week as a protected supernumery day to ensure you are balancing clinical and managerial workload.

The candidate must have a valid NMC Pin and eating disorder experience within a hospital setting is highly desirable.
