The Priory Hospital Chelmsford is a 49 bed private acute psychiatric hospital that specialises in the treatment and management of mental health problems for both adults and adolescents. The hospital incorporates a Grade II listed building that has been extensively restored and situated in 3.5 acres of landscaped grounds. In addition, a new 12 bedded Acute Service ward will soon be opening adjacent to the main hospital.
The role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Systemic Family Therapist to work within our Therapy Services department, working with other Family Therapists across our adolescent services and adult ED services.
This is a key position within the MDT, and the post holder will be expected to help develop all aspects of the family programme for the Adult EDU Service & CAMHS.
Applicants must be appropriately qualified, and those with eating disorder expertise and/or experience of working with adolescents will be preferred. You will have a solid understanding of the needs of children/families with complex needs. Your skills and experience in building supportive and trusting relationships with children, adults and families will be essential for this post
