SW 4398: Sales Executive
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 DOE plus Bonus and package
Location: Kent
My client, based in Kent, is looking for someone with radio communication or electronic navigation experience (preferably with sales experience), who has an interest in technology and is keen to join a company that offers excellent career potential. You will be trained on the technical aspects of the products and services so a passion for technology and an ability to learn quickly will be important. The role will be very much focused on building stronger relationships with our extensive existing client base. There will be a strong focus on maximising commercial opportunities and developing new business.
Responsibilities:
- To develop relationships and explore and deliver new business opportunities via calling and visiting existing and new clients across the UK.
- Provide customers with quotations through liaising with internal departments.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close sales.
- Gather market and customer information and feedback on buying trends to the management team.
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
- Working with internal departments to explore and deliver sales opportunities.
- Identify new markets and business opportunities.
- 60% travel time within the UK.
Experience:
- B2B or B2C Sales experience either within retail, telesales or field sales.
- Technical communications/navigation experience, probably from a military background.
- A strong interest in technology and a willingness to learn.
- Strong communication skills (face to face and via phone).
- Developed selling, negotiation, presentation and closing skills.
- Ability to develop strong relationships.
- A confident and determined approach.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Self-motivation and drive.
- A full driving license and the ability to travel throughout the country as required.
