Mildmay Oaks is a low secure and locked rehabilitation service for men with learning disability and autism spectrum disorder, and for women with learning disability.
The role:
You will be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist and must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
The post holder will have:
- The drive to learn and develop.
- A commitment to patient-centred care and to values-based and evidence-based practice.
- A flexible, positive, team-orientated approach
- Experience of working with patients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983/2007) is advantageous and in a Forensic Mental Health Setting is advantageous.
- Experience of working in mental health and/or Learning Disability settings would be advantageous
