Centrally located with easy access to Tunbridge Wells, Hastings, Ashford and Maidstone, The Priory Hospital, Ticehurst House has 70 beds across 3 service lines: Adult Acute, 2 young peoples wards (CAMHS) and Rehabilitation and Recovery. The role:
We are seeking a full time Consultant Psychiatrist to work on our CAMHS High Dependency Unit building on the success of our CAMHS services. You will fulfill the role of Responsible Clinician to patients supervising the process of referral and admission including contribution to the pre-admission assessments of young people. The role is a pivotal element of an established mulit-disciplinary team aiming to ensure that patients receive a holistic and person-centric care and treatment programme. Qualifications/Skills
To join us, you must hold a CCST/CCT or equivalent in the relevant areas of psychiatry and have experience of working in inpatient settings with people with significant mental health difficulties. You will certainly have experience at consultant level within the NHS, including the ability to conduct training.
You will be an excellent team player keen to participate in a multi disciplinary approach to assessment with a keen interest in developing services within a forward thinking CAMHS environment.
You will continue to hold a registration with the GMC including being on the special register for psychiatry.
