The Company and the Role:
The Company is a family owned and operated independent Land Rover Service Centre. They specialise in servicing Land Rovers and take pride in offering customers a highly professional and personalised service. They have been operating in the South East for over nearly 30 years and offer employees a positive, clean and modern working environment with the latest Land Rover Diagnostics.
Currently seeking a Vehicle Technician to be based at their Service Centre in Kent. The position is permanent.
Key Features of the Role:
Responsible for providing and maintaining high levels of quality in repairs and ensuring that each repair is performed in a timely manner, carefully and to appropriate Company/Manufacturer guidelines.
Operate efficiently using available resources to ensure that each and every vehicle is repaired diligently.
In this role, you will understand the requirement for quality working to high standards.
You act as a point of contact for the Company ensuring all customers are treated with respect and in a friendly manner.
Knowledge and Skills:
You will be an accomplished Vehicle Technician and must hold a recognised time served training certification at Level 2 within the motor industry or similar engineering back ground and demonstrate significant working in the industry after apprenticeship/training completion.
The role would suit a candidate with a proven track record working within this role, ideally with Land Rovers (Motor Mechanic, LCV Technician).
You will hold a valid UK Driving license to a minimum of Category B
You will undertake a commitment to achieve a Jaguar Land Rover Level 2/3 qualification within an agreed timeframe.
What`s on Offer:
Basic salary is £25 - 30k (OTE) per annum based on a working week of Monday - Friday 8am - 5.15pm with every other Saturday mornings until 12 when required. You will receive 20 days` holiday plus bank and public holidays plus company pension and free site parking.
