The Priory Hospital Glasgow is Scotland`s leading independent Acute Psychiatric Hospital.  We have a range of services including General Adult Psychiatry, Addictions and Eating Disorders. 

The role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with effective communication skills to work as part of our small team of Medical Secretaries.  The team provides an efficient and professional secretarial service to our Consultant Psychiatrists, ensuring business processes are effectively and resourcefully managed to support the delivery of a quality care service.   

The successful candidate will have previous secretarial/administration experience, excellent keyboard skills and knowledge of the standard Microsoft Office packages.  Whilst knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage, it is not essential. The role is varied and tasks will include a high volume of audio typing, collation and input of data, enquiry handling, diary management, invoicing and general administration.  Only Applicants with audio typing experience should apply.

The hours of work are: 22.5 hrs - 30 hrs over 5 days Monday to Friday
