A global, leading service provider to the pre-press and digital-wide format inkjet printing industry requires a Field Service Engineer to join their team and grow with the company as it continues to deliver outstanding service and workmanship to clients throughout the UK and worldwide. The Field Service Engineer will work on some of the printing industry`s latest large format digital printing equipment. Whilst knowledge and experience as a computer or electronics engineer is desirable, heavy bias exists toward a qualification and experience in electro mechanical engineering for this role.

Salary / hours: Basic salary is £28,000 - £30,000. Minimum hours worked weekly is 35; however, on average, engineers work 45 hours per week with overtime, accounted and paid for when commuting to and from client sites. When required to stay away overnight expenses for, flights, food, hotels will be provided. Weekend overtime is paid at time and 2/3rds. Majority of engineers earn between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum working an average of 45 hours per week.
You will be required to work at least one weekend per month and on standby (paid) on certain weekends. Standby and weekend work is flexible and can be organised between engineers to fit around social lives.
