The Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal is a specialist provider of complex mental health services, providing clinical excellence in our eating disorders, adolescent, rehabilitation and PICU services.
Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)
Cheadle Royal Hospital operates a comprehensive inpatient mental health service for young people aged between 13 and 18 years, comprising open acute and psychiatric intensive care services. The Young People’s Service is made up of three wards; Meadows, Orchard and Woodlands.
Orchard
This 15 bedded service offers care for young people with a range of mental health presentations with enduring high risk behaviours. An acute admissions ward; the comprehensive multidisciplinary team offers a wide range of interventions and works closely with families and locality teams to ensure a smooth transition back to the community. The therapeutic programme emphasises the development of new life skills and coping strategies whilst continuing formal education.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assessment and treatment of a designated case load within the frame work of an established programme. Involving the following:
