Set back within 15 acres of landscaped gardens, the tranquil environment of the Priory Hospital Southampton offers therapeutic and recovery focused residential treatment as well as day care and outpatient services. The hospital also provides a specialist inpatient service for children and adolescents.
We have a highly experienced team of mental health professionals and support staff, which include consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and therapists.

I work on the eating disorder ward as a healthcare assistant and activities co-ordinator on the adult acute ward. I cannot express how much I enjoy my job, it`s a wonderful place to work as we have an amazing team here at the hospital. It is an extremely rewarding job and knowing that I can make a difference in someone`s recovery is very satisfying.\"
Jane Rutley - Lead Nursing Assistant. \"I have worked at the Priory for over 20 years in the last 18 years I have worked with patients suffering with an eating disorder. Priory have supported me to gain qualifications in this area which has helped me understand the illness which in turn supports the patients. We have a great team who all support each other the environment where we work is a lovely being set in beautiful ground in the New forest.\"
Millie Joseph - Staff Nurse. \"I was made to feel really welcome here at the Priory; the staff here are bubbly and have a great sense of humour and as a NQN, fitting in was an important factor to me. You are able to spend a lot of time speaking with patients on the ward and build a strong therapeutic relationship with the patients. The staff go the extra mile for patients, and will always try to meet their requests and needs no matter how small.\"
