The Priory Hospital Chelmsford is a 48 bed private acute psychiatric hospital that specialises in the treatment and management of mental health problems for both adults and adolescents. The hospital incorporates a Grade II listed building that has been extensively restored and situated in 3.5 acres of landscaped grounds. In addition, a new 12 bedded Acute Service ward will be opening adjacent to the main hospital.
The role:
An opportunity has arisen for a part-time Weekend Housekeeper to join the existing team working within the ward, administration and public areas, to deliver and maintain a clean and tidy environment to a high standard throughout the hospital.
The hours will be worked over two days Saturday and Sunday working 5 hours per day.
No qualifications are needed as training will be given but experience in this role would be an advantage. The successful applicant will have the ability to communicate with both patients, visitors and staff and work well within a team. The ability to cover the occasional bank holiday and other absence within the team is essential.
Uniform is supplied and training will be provided.
