Grosvenor House is registered to accommodate a maximum of 5 young people of either gender from 14 - 19 years of age. Grosvenor House Children`s Home which we believe is a very special home for children and young peole where daily living experiences and activities are meaninful and meorable and are designed to meet the needs of indivdual children in areas that are personal to them. Grosevnor house is one of six homes that feed into the priory Queenswood School.
You will be required to work 7 shifts on a transparent 3 week rolling rota basis:
Week One: Monday & Thursday
Week Two: Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday
Week Three: Tuesday & Friday
That’s right! You get five consecutive days off every three weeks (between week Two and Three)
As a Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing day to day care for our Young People, supporting them in activities, education and statutory meetings relating to their time in residential care. Working as a team you will ensure the home is kept to a good standard in all aspects of house-keeping.
Experience of working in a Residential Childcare setting or working with young people with BESD is an advantage. We welcome applications from those with no experience but willing to train. All staff undertake relevant training leading to a nationally recognised Level 3 Qualification in Residential Childcare (QCF).
You need to have held a driving license for at least three years and have no more than six points.
Entry level salary (unqualified) is £17,376 = £14,496.00 basic plus an average £2,880.00 sleeping in allowance (£40.00 / approx 6 per month)
