Tadley Court school is set in a beautiful semi rural location with four acres of well maintained grounds. We are a co-educational school specialising in the education and care of children and young people between the age of 5 and 19 years who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties. Our children and young people may also exhibit challenging behaviour as a result of their communication difficulties and lack of social understanding.

If so, the time is right to join one of our on site children`s home teams as we embark on the next phase of our development and growth. As a Shift Leader you will lead your assigned shift taking responsibility for a small team of staff and a group of young people to ensure that the children and young people in your care are safe, healthy and able to make a positive contribution, realising their full potential through enjoyment, achievement and economic wellbeing. You will work in the children`s home but will also spend time in school supporting during the academic day. This is a whole year role and you must be prepared to work on a shift system including weekend shifts.

- Previous experience in a special needs environment/school would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given
