Priory Education and Children’s Services is a leading company in the UK offering independent behavioural care for commissioners across the UK. With over 100 high quality schools, colleges and homes we focus on making a real and lasting difference for everyone we support.
The home is a five bed service based in Clacton. This is a recent newly opened project within our existing portfolio of specialist provisions we have for the care of adolescent boys who display harmful sexualised behaviour.
We are one of the country’s leading providers of education and residential placements for young people aged between 11 – 18 years of age. We are looking to recruit a senior childcare worker for this project in the Clacton area.
The successful applicant will be part of the management team supporting the team in managing the home. The applicant will be part of the rota working as shift leader and will sleep in as part of this where an additional payment is made.
The applicant will be part of the management structure supporting the manager in the running of the home, they will be expected to set high standards, provide leadership, support and direction for the care team and champion the Company’s ethos. They will also need to be able to work with professionals from a wide range of different disciplines who contribute to our processes.
The successful applicants will need to have had a wide range of previous experience as a child care practitioner in a residential setting. A Level 3 Diploma / NVQ 3 qualifications IS essential. Full driving licence is also required.
