Lily Close provides 10 beds, across 3 bungalows for adults with learning disability. Each bungalow can support people mobilising in a wheelchair.
Lily Close is located in the community, with easy access to local shops, leisure centre and colleges; with good transport links into central London and neighbouring towns to promote social integration and meaningful engagement for patients with their local community
As a Support Worker with us, your role will involve:
- Maintaining a positive relationship with patients, their families and carers as well as other health agencies
- Helping to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Carrying out and supporting a range of activities, including basic nursing, social and recreational activities, and health promotion
- Encouraging individuals to take an active role in all aspects of daily living; along with supporting a lifestyle which facilities, spiritual, physical, psychological, cultural and social needs of the individual
- Assisting with providing a needs-led service
- Contributing to the development and implementation of individuals care plans
- Undertaking a range of training and development activities, in line with your personal development plan and legislative requirements
- Please note: Due to the nature of the role, candidates with a driving licence are preferred.
