Priory Greenhill and Priory Ghyllside are two community houses in the village of Steeton, providing transitional accommodation for service users who no longer require hospital level care, yet continue to experience severe and enduring mental illness and present a level of risk that requires fully supported and staffed accommodation.

Priory Ghyllside provides accommodation for four male service users and Priory Greenhill provides accommodation for five female service users.

The houses provide an integrated step down service from hospital care as service users are able to access and receive the support of our multidisciplinary team, ensuring that therapeutic relationships are maintained and that continuity of care is received.

Our support staff, along with input from the multidisciplinary team, strive to provide a recovery focused service promoting and facilitating the maintenance and development of functional skills, social inclusion and independence.
