Elm Park in Essex is a specialist neurobehavioural service for assessing, treating and discharging people with complex neurological needs following a traumatic or acquired brain injury. The services are provided at Elm Park and two community houses - Elm House and Elm Cottage.
The role:
To supervise the smooth running of the housekeeping services under the direction of the Quality and Clinical Governance Manager.
The post holder will:
- Ensure the housekeeping service complies with statutory legislation and company policies.
- Ensure and safeguard the best interest of all patients, employees and visitors at Elm Park.
- Promptly and accurately report and record all untowars occurances
- Carry out regular supervisions and appraisals with all housekeeping staff
- Plan, co-ordinate and work to a flexible rota, thereby ensuring that the needs of the service are met at all times
- The post-holder will at all times treat patients/residents with dignity and respect.
- The post-holder will work in such a manner as to ensure a positive and co-operative relationship with all colleagues, patients, residents and visitors.
Previous housekeeping experience required, preferably within a healthcare setting.
