Providing quality, inspiring innovation and delivering value is what we set out to achieve at Priory Healthcare. Enabling our patients with mental health difficulties to receive a truly integrated and holistic approach to their treatment, regardless of complexity or severity, thanks to the knowledge and expertise of our multidisciplinary clinical teams.
The Priory Hospital, Southampton, is a 40 bedded hospital, providing acute mental health services to both Adolescents and adults. We provide treatment packages for people who have mental health problems with most psychiatric conditions, addictions and eating disorders.
We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic individual to work alongside a multi-disciplinary team ensuring the well being and care of patients within our CAMHS Unit.
The successful candidate will support and assist qualified staff, in particular the Occupational Therapist, in the assessment, planning and implementation of patient care, and facilitating recreational activities. Planned programmes should have a balance of ward and community based activities.
The role concerns providing practical support and responsive care to patients who require assistance with personal and therapeutic needs ensuring that such activities comply with procedures and the relevant healthcare legislation.
The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate their skills and experiences in observing and monitoring the well being of patients ensuring that any unusual occurrences are promptly referred to senior staff/the primary nurse and documented as appropriate.
As well as the salary the Priory group offers a number of other benefits including a contributed pension scheme and a commitment to personal development. Further to this is the opportunity to work within a leading brand of independent mental health care providers, and to work in a friendly environment committed to the ongoing improvement of healthcare standards.
