Providing quality, inspiring innovation and  delivering value is what we set out to achieve at Priory Healthcare. Enabling our patients with mental health difficulties to receive a truly integrated and holistic approach to their treatment, regardless of complexity or severity, thanks to the knowledge and expertise of our multidisciplinary clinical teams.

The Priory Hospital Chelmsford is a 48 bed private acute psychiatric hospital that specialises in the treatment and management of mental health problems for both adults and adolescents. The hospital incorporates a Grade II listed building that has been extensively restored and situated in 3.5 acres of landscaped grounds. In addition, a new 12 bedded Acute Service ward will be opening adjacent to the main hospital in June 2017.

The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Ward Clerk to work across our two acute wards. This is a post for applicants with administrative experience.  The role will include assisting with a variety of admin duties, typing of correspondence, answering telephone enquiries from both internal and external professionals, inputting patient data onto a computer database system, reception cover and covering holiday/sickness. The post holder will also provide administrative support relating to the Mental Health Act 1983 and training will be given for this role.  The post holder must be a team player and work well under pressure.  IT literacy and confidence in the use of a computer is essential. Experience within a healthcare environment would be advantageous but is not essential.

Interviews will be held from 30th May to Friday 2nd June.
