Oaktree Manor specialises in working with men and women with a primary diagnosis of learning disability and sensory impairment, presenting with high risks of challenging behaviours and forensic history. Patients may also be diagnosed with co-existing conditions of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Asperger’s Syndrome or Personality Disorder.
Our Kitchen Assistant role involves:
- Providing timely supplies of food and beverages to patients, staff and visitors
- Providing balanced, nutritional, varied and well-presented meals
- Assisting the chef with general kitchen duties as required.
- Working as part of a weekend rota team, however no split shifts are required.
To be successful as Kitchen Assistant, you’ll need:
- Awareness of safety and hygiene issues in a working environment
- Experience of working in a similar role
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and food preparation procedures
- Certificate in Food Safety / Hygiene
