The Priory Highbank Centre specialises in complex neuro-disability, including care of tracheostomy and mechanical ventilated patients. You would be part of our dedicated interdisciplinary team who offer evidence based patient centred care and therapy to help patients maximise their physical, emotional and social potential.
Your role will involve assisting patients achieve their therapeutic goals, facilitating community activities and supporting the interdisciplinary teams, including Physio`s, OT`s, SLT`s and the Social & Recreational Coordinator.
The role holder will have a NVQ 2 in Care or equivalent and should have excellent communication skills, flexible thinking and a dynamic approach to rehabilitation. Experience of neurological rehabilitation is desirable but not essential. A clean driving license is essential as driving the Company Minibus will be an integral part of your role.
The role will be on a rotational basis on all units within The Priory Highbank Centre and will involve evening, weekend working and Bank Holidays.
