Priory Education and Children`s Services is a leading company in the UK offering independent behavioural care for commissioners across the UK. With over 100 high quality schools, colleges and homes we focus on making a real and lasting difference for everyone we support.
An exciting innovation project has led to a new service being opened in July 2015, this a 4 bedded step down CAMHS service within a Children`s home setting as part of an integrated, personalised and holistic programme of health, care and education for children aged between 11 and 18.
The project provides a single pathway, integrated provision of specialist mental health and social care for young people, up to the age of 18, to provide a nurturing and high quality residential service within the community, thus avoiding the trauma of admission to mental inpatient services.
An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a Nurse to join the service. The service is looking for a qualified, professional and committed nurse to work with children who have ongoing mental health difficulties.
You will work in close collaboration with the therapies team, teachers, families and carers to manage associated behaviour issues linked to mental health, autism and learning disabilities for the children and young people at Belhaven House.
Our aim is to provide a high quality, holistic, needs led service focusing on the behavioural and developmental needs of children and young people with mental ill health within an education and care home setting.
