Priory Education and Children’s Services is a leading company in the UK offering independent behavioural care for commissioners across the UK. With over 100 high quality schools, colleges and homes we focus on making a real and lasting difference for everyone we support.
Our day schools are for children aged 8 to 19 years with severe to mild autistic spectrum disorder and associated learning difficulties. Pupils may also have challenging behaviour as a result if their communication difficulties and a lack of social understanding.
Successful applicants will be required under the direction of the Class Teacher, to lead prepared educational sessions/lessons in all aspects of pupil related classroom and wider school and college based activities associated with the schools educational approach. The ability to work flexibly and the confidence to deal with challenging behaviours are essential for this post.
The school will provide any additional training required and you will enjoy working with a very supportive staff team who are enthusiastic and committed to the progression of their students.
